- 1 cup Milk (or almond milk)
- A few Saffron Strands (bloomed)
- Pinch of Cardamom
- Sugar or Honey to taste
Instructions
- Warm 2 tablespoons of milk and soak the saffron strands in it for 2–3 minutes to release their color and aroma.
- In a small saucepan, add the remaining milk (or almond milk) and bring to a gentle simmer over low heat.
- Stir in the bloomed saffron milk, cardamom powder, and sugar or honey. Whisk lightly for 1–2 minutes until the flavors infuse and the milk turns a soft golden hue.
- Add more sweetener or a pinch of cardamom if desired. Avoid boiling to preserve the delicate aroma.
- Pour the hot saffron milk into a pre-warmed mug to maintain its temperature.
- Garnish beautifully (optional): Top with a few chopped almonds, pistachio slivers, or an extra saffron strand for a luxurious finish.
