Instructions
- Warm milk in a saucepan on low heat for about 2 minutes until steamy.
- Add cocoa powder and sugar, whisking for 30-40 seconds until fully dissolved and smooth.
- Stir in espresso and peppermint extract, whisking lightly for another 10 seconds.
- Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Optional Garnish: Add crushed candy cane for a colorful festive crunch.
- Optional: Reduce peppermint for a milder version or replace half the milk with cream for richness.
