No reviews

A café-style twist on the classic Indian mango lassi — icy, creamy, and irresistibly tangy.

Smooth, frothy, and bursting with mango flavor, this drink blends the comfort of lassi with the freshness of a chilled frappe.

  • Total Time: 6 minutes
  • Yield: 1 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup Mango Pulp (chilled)
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Cold Milk or Water
  • 12 tsp Sugar (to taste)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Optional garnish: Chopped mango pieces, mint sprig, or a dusting of cardamom

Instructions

  1. Use chilled mango pulp and yogurt for the best texture. Measure milk, sugar, and ice cubes.
  2. Add mango pulp, yogurt, milk (or water), sugar, and ice cubes to a blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for 20–30 seconds until smooth, creamy, and lightly aerated with a frappe-like foam.
  4. Taste once — add a splash of milk for a thinner texture or more mango pulp for richness.
  5. Pour into a tall chilled glass, letting the froth rise naturally to the top.
  6. Garnish beautifully (optional): Top with a few mango cubes, a light sprinkle of cardamom, or a small mint sprig for color and aroma.
  7. Enjoy chilled — fruity, tangy, and perfectly refreshing with every sip.
  8. Optional tip: For an indulgent twist, blend in a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle honey before serving.
