- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes to the top.
- Pour in the chilled tonic water slowly, then add simple syrup if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
- Gently pour the freshly brewed espresso over the back of a spoon so it floats above the tonic – creating a beautiful layered effect.
- Let it rest for 10-15 seconds before sipping; the flavors merge gradually as you drink.
- Optional Garnish: Twist an orange peel over the top to release oils and aroma.
- Optional: Add a few drops of vanilla extract or tonic syrup for depth.
