A strong and concentrated coffee, Espresso is the base for many other coffee drinks. It is made by forcing pressurized hot water through finely-ground coffee beans, resulting in a small, powerful shot of rich, dark coffee with a golden crema on top.

- 1 shot (7-9G) Finely Ground Coffee
- 30 ml Hot Water (90-96°C)
Instructions
- Preheat the demitassee cup.
- Tamp the coffee grounds evenly in the portafilter.
- Lock the portafilter into the espresso machine.
- Start the shot, aiming for a 25-30 second extraction time.
- The final shot should have a rich, golden-brown crema on top.
- Serve immediately.
