Ingredients
Scale
- 3/4 cup Cold Milk
- 1/2 cup Chikoo (sapota) flesh, peeled and deseeded
- 1 tsp Sugar (depending on fruit sweetness) (Optional)
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Chikoo slices, cinnamon dust, or chopped nuts (Optional garnish)
Instructions
- Peel and deseed the chikoo, ensuring the fruit is soft and ripe for maximum sweetness.
- Add chikoo flesh, cold milk, sugar (if using), cinnamon powder, and a few ice cubes into the blender.
- Blend on medium-high speed for 20–30 seconds until thick, creamy, and completely lump-free.
- If the shake feels too thick, add a splash of milk and blend again briefly.
- Pour into a chilled tall glass, allowing a slight froth to form naturally on top.
- Garnish beautifully (optional): Add a thin chikoo slice on the rim, dust lightly with cinnamon, or sprinkle crushed nuts for a homely finish.
- Enjoy chilled — malty, smooth, and delightfully sweet.
- Optional tip: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dash of honey for extra richness and dessert-style texture.
