A strong and concentrated coffee, Espresso is the base for many other coffee drinks. It is made by forcing pressurized hot water through finely-ground coffee beans, resulting in a small, powerful shot of rich, dark coffee with a golden crema on top.

  • 30 ml Hot Water (90-96°C)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the demitassee cup.
  2. Tamp the coffee grounds evenly in the portafilter.
  3. Lock the portafilter into the espresso machine.
  4. Start the shot, aiming for a 25-30 second extraction time.
  5. The final shot should have a rich, golden-brown crema on top.
  6. Serve immediately.
